Litchfield national park

Started the day with a swim in the big 4 pool before setting off to Litchfield National Park for the day. 

Spent the day exploring the water holes and taking cooling dips where it was safe to swim.  Beautiful place. 

Cathedral termite mounds are amazing! 

Enjoyed the sunset in Darwin before having delicious Barramundi for dinner! Yum!

Day 1 - still in Sydney !

A lovely day to be stuck in Sydney after our flight to Darwin was cancelled last night. 

Spent the day wandering around, making the most of Funday travel pass and eating. 

Highlight of the day was the Spanish churros. Yum! 

Back to the airport for another attempt at getting to Darwin !!

3 Sleeps to go

Well with 3 sleeps to go we decided to get a nasty stomach virus out of our system now. Good travel planning. In spite of the vomiting we are very excited about our next trip. Darwin to Uluru featuring Katherine, Kakadu, Devils marbles, Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and THE ROCK! With temperatures soaring and UV rating at EXTREME we are sure to get a shock after our Canberra winter. I will also be on constant alert for crocodiles. We will keep you posted... :-)
